: Intergrated WASH and Protection response for North kordofan Conflict affected new IDPs in Sudan

"The project is designed to directly reach 12,000 of new North kordofan IDPs and conflict-affected people through integrated WASH and Protection interventions in East Darfur State.
The calculation is based on the planned distribution of emergency WASH assistance to 2,000 households, using the standard humanitarian planning figure of 6 persons per household, resulting in:
• 2,000 households × 6 persons = 12,000 direct beneficiaries 
The average household size of six persons is based on:
• IOM Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Sudan; 
• Sudan Humanitarian Needs Overview (HNO); 
• East Darfur State humanitarian assessments; 
• ARC-Sudan rapid needs assessments and beneficiary registration data.

All beneficiary data will be collected using sex-, age-, and disability-disaggregated data (SADDD) in line with humanitarian standards. Beneficiary verification will be conducted jointly with community leaders, local authorities, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms to ensure transparency, accountability, and equitable targeting.
